QR Code generator features
Available QR Code types
Each type generates a structure compatible with common QR code readers on modern smartphones.
URL: directs the person to a website, landing page, form, menu, social profile or online file.
vCard: saves contact data directly to the phone's agenda.
PIX: generates a static QR Code for receiving payments and transfers.
Email: opens the email app with recipient, subject and message already filled in.
Wi-Fi: facilitates connection to a network with SSID, password and encryption type.
SMS: opens a text message with phone and content defined.
Text: stores simple information that appears directly upon scanning.
What you can customize
All the settings live in the Customization block and the result shows up in the live preview as you change them. None of these changes affect the encoded content. The QR Code still points to the same data.
Size and margin: set the width and height between 120 and 1000 pixels. The chain button between the two fields links the proportions and keeps both values in sync, preserving the square shape of the QR Code. The margin (0 to 80) is the clear area around the code. Avoid setting it to zero, because scanners use that border to locate and read the QR Code correctly.
Dot style: choose between Square, Dots, Rounded, Extra Rounded, Classy and Classy Rounded. This option only changes the shape of the modules (the small blocks that make up the QR Code), without altering the encoded content. Styles with gaps between modules, such as Dots, may need a larger size to scan well.
Corner style: choose between Square, Dots and Extra Rounded. This option changes the look of the three position markers, the larger squares in the corners of the QR Code that help scanners identify the orientation before reading it.
Colors: customize the Dots, Corners, Corner center and Background colors separately. You can highlight the markers with a color different from the rest of the QR Code. Prefer dark dots on a light background, because the inverse usually fails to scan.
Logo: upload an image to display in the center of the QR Code. Adjust the logo margin (0 to 40) to set the clear space around the image, and use the Hide dots behind logo option to clear the area beneath it. Prefer simple logos and always test scanning before printing or publishing the code, because the logo covers part of the modules and can hinder reading if it is too large.
